Entropy

Entropy

Author: Otiven Homeforger.

Frail I feel, with this knowledge of mine.
Unable to steel, against the pain of time.
For I need relief, when no relief can be seen.
What retreat I have, I rarely feel.

First one, then two, then three,
These seizures are going to be the end of me,
With no cure in sight, and no medicine in mind,
I am doomed to entropy.

His kind gesture, it might have saved me.
Agony has left me, panic has lost control of me,
I am free, as free as can be,
In this world of catastrophe.

While this might be true, and good, and holy
I fear with time comes an endless fury
Whether in the flames that will consume me
As the building burns around me
Or the eyes that captivate and blind me
For I am a slave, to pain, to suffering, to agony,
And now I look forward
To being consumed by entropy.
